The ICEdot App is a comprehensive digital safety platform. It sends activity notifications with tracking links at the outset of an activity and further notification when an activity is completed. The app connects with the ICEdot Crash Sensor to monitor for critical forces consistent with head injury while you bike, ski, kayak, or go on an adventure. The sensor uses Bluetooth Low Energy, providing security and long battery life. When the sensor detects critical forces, it triggers the app to sound an alarm and begin the emergency countdown. If not cancelled, the countdown will conclude with the app notifying your pre-designated emergency contacts. They will be notified of your GPS coordinates over SMS text message. Utilizing the tracking features requires use of your phone GPS. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Requires iOS 7.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
